The first round of the Russian National Cup was held at a great new track in Moscow this week. This is the first professional off-road track for serious racing in Russia; the 320m long track contains six difficult obstacles. It was a great debut for the Russian XRAY team.

During qualification heats, team drivers Dmitry Malyshko and Denis Zuikov tried to find their best setup, and found it they did! After qualification they were first and second accordingly. Itâ™s important to mention that it was first race with an XB8 for them both. Denis had the best lap time, but Dmitry was more stable.

In the 45-minute final Denis encountered some motor problems and ended up in 4th place. Dmitry drove excellently and won the race.
